Modern waterproof laminate can be fitted in kitchens and utility rooms with confidence. For full bathrooms we generally recommend luxury vinyl tile (LVT) instead, as it offers superior moisture protection in consistently wet environments.
How long does installation take?
Most single rooms can be completed in a day, including subfloor preparation and finishing. A full house typically takes 2–4 days depending on the number of rooms and complexity of the layout.
Do I need to remove my old flooring first?
In most cases, old carpet or vinyl should be removed before laminate installation. Laminate can sometimes be laid over existing hard flooring if it is level and in good condition — we will assess this during your free quote visit.
Do you supply the laminate or can I buy my own?
